When you meet a couple for the first time, you try to get a sense for how they are as a couple. Are they romantic, sappy, silly, cute? When we met Michelle and Josh for the first time, they gave off a very laid-back, relaxed feel. Talking to them felt like chatting with old friends we had known for years.

We were so excited to get a chance to meet Michelle & Josh during our trip to Texas. They chose to do their engagement photos in historic downtown Plano. We chatted over a few tasty hefeweizens at The Fillmore Pub, getting to know all about how they met, why they decided on a destination wedding, favorite movies, and more! After hanging out for a bit, we moved down the street to Haggard Park, which has a gorgeous bridge, a cute gazebo, and a very cool, restored railway car which is part of the Interurban Railway Museum. Haggard Park gave us an opportunity to take some fun, relaxed shots. One of the cutest moments was when Michelle and Josh just lay in the grass and joked with each other!

We feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet Michelle and Josh in Plano and can’t wait to photograph what will be a beautiful destination wedding in Hilton Head, SC next spring! Michelle & Josh, congrats and we’ll see you soon!
