I’m surprised that Savannah didn’t make the list. It’s such a charming city with so much to do for the bride and groom and their guests. And as far as service, you will find plenty of southern hospitality to make you feel welcome! If you were planning (or have planned) a destination wedding in the US, where would you choose and why?

I think if we hadn’t chosen to get married in Jamaica and instead decided to stay in the US, we would have hit the West Coast! We discussed having a California vineyard wedding, but in the end it was easier and more affordable to have our family and friends join us in Jamaica. Still, an outdoor setting with mountains, vines, and plenty of delicious wine and food would be my ultimate domestic destination wedding!!

I’m with you 100%. If we didn’t choose Jamaica, we would have definitely went with somewhere in So. California. I could picture us getting married overlooking cliffs in Costa Mesa at sunset!

First off, I have to say that my wife might be a bit miffed if I got married agin without her. But if we had to do it all over again: No question about it: Jackson Hole WY. Not a typical answer but my favorite place in the US! Bar none! OK, I guess really, 2nd favorite; First is next to my wife wherever she is

Lisa, we have so much in common! But I think you really chose a more picturesque part of Jamaica than we did. Can’t wait until your wedding!

Chris, what is so awesome about Jackson Hole? Isn’t it a place with ski resorts? I guess I’ll have to take a trip some day and see what I’m missing out on! : )
