Last week, we traveled to North Carolina for Erin & Rob’s downtown Charlotte wedding at St. Mary’s Chapel. They chose this charming and historic venue because it was the same place where Erin’s parents said “I do!”
They continued to showcase the Queen City with a cocktail style reception at the Levine Museum of the New South. We stole them to do some evening photos with the city in the background before they came dancing down the grand staircase of the museum to be greeted by their guests.
Although everyone came together to celebrate Erin & Rob’s wedding day, the newlyweds decided to honor all of the married guests. They had a wall with wedding photos from each of the married couples in attendance. They also used the cake topper from Erin’s parents’ wedding! It was a beautiful way to recognize and honor their guests!
The dance floor was packed the entire evening, and it was bittersweet as everyone joined in for the last song – “Good Life” by One Republic. As they exited through a path of sparklers, it was a perfect end to the perfect wedding day! Because they had an evening wedding, Erin & Rob decided to do a first look. Erin boarded a train and traveled to the station where Rob was anxiously waiting to see his bride!
