It was a gorgeous weekend on the Gulf Coast of Florida for Rachel & Dylan’s wedding in Port St. Joe! Nothing beats a wedding where the sun is hot, the drinks are cold, and your toes are in the sand! We had such a great time and want to wish Rachel & Dylan a wonderful honeymoon this week! Congratulations!! : )

Sneak Peek: Tracy & Dennis | Downtown Jacksonville Wedding at The Haskell Building | Jacksonville Wedding PhotographersApril 22, 2012
We had some crazy weather in Jacksonville (and all across Florida) yesterday! Giant storm systems from the Gulf and to the south of us all threatened to ruin Tracy & Dennis’s plans for a gorgeous outdoor wedding in downtown Jacksonville. But thanks to Tracy’s rain dance the rain stayed away and the sun made an appearance during the ceremony! It was absolutely gorgeous, and their day was truly blessed! The rain eventually came, but by then everyone was safe inside enjoying cocktails and dancing the night away!
Help us send wishes of sunny skies to Tracy & Dennis for their honeymoon this week! We hope you both have a great time! : )
Yesterday was a perfect spring day for Ashley & Louis’s wedding at Nocatee’s Crosswater Hall! It was definitely one of the sweetest weddings we’ve ever been part of! There were so many happy tears from both the bride and the groom! I just love this moment captured by Matt immediately after the ceremony. Louis whispered something to Ashley and she just couldn’t hold back the emotion! Only the two of them know what was said in that special moment, and that’s why I just love this series of images!
We hope you both have a wonderful time on your honeymoon and can’t wait to talk to you when you return! : )
We are beyond excited to finally announce the launch of our new line, Aroo! Pet Photography℠! Before we opened the studio, we planned what we would use the space for. I wanted a space for shooting boudoir sessions, and I launched Pillow Book Boudoir℠ in March. I’m putting the final touches on the sets before our shoots begin later this month!
Matt wanted to do pet photography, so he developed the idea for Aroo! The name Aroo came from our dog, Peanut. One day, Gwen decided to teach Peanut to howl. Never expecting him to actually mimic her, there was a hysterical outbreak of laughter when he actually did! You have to picture our little pom Peanut, who is about 7 pounds of fluff, howling like a big boy! So from that day, we started calling him Mr. Aroo.
We finalized the logo design last week with our friend Christina of Moon Gypsy Designs. We just love the little tag hanging from the A and how the “roo” part is emphasized the way that Peanut would say it – A-ROOOOO!
Aroo! Pet Photography is a brand of Gwendolyn Tundermann Photography, LLC but it has a life of its own. We invite you to check out the new website (complete with an Aroo! blog) and follow us on Facebook!
We can’t wait to share all things cute and fluffy with you!
We met Sarah & Glenn in December at Suzanne & Scott’s wedding at The Hilliard Mansion. You couldn’t help but notice them because they spent most of the evening tearing up the dance floor! After spending the day with them shooting their engagement photos in St. Augustine, we know that they are always the life of the party!
I think all the kisses and smiles say it all! Sarah & Glenn are completely in love and also the best of friends! We had a fun time strolling through the streets of the Oldest City with them talking about the wedding, home projects, and everything in between! I’m not sure if you are aware, but St. Augustine is like the Bermuda Triangle. There’s a certain area that if you walk past you’ll disappear for a while and come back out and its nighttime. It always seems to happen off Charlotte street near Stogies! LOL!
It’s safe to say we had a good time during their engagement session, and we’re very excited about their wedding this spring! Can’t wait to share more pics of this sweet couple! : )

We’re so excited to share that Lisa & Omar’s destination wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril is the “Wedding of the Week” on the Destination Weddings & Honeymoons website! I’m so tickled by Dayna & Steven’s adorable engagement photos in St. Augustine! They are just so cute, and I love the way that they laugh together! We walked through the streets of St. Augustine in the early morning hours, chatting away and finding places with beautiful light. However, it was our second set of photos that really make me smile! We headed to Washington Oaks for some family photos. Books and bubbles… and some silly faces! Aren’t they just the sweetest family?
By the way, my absolute fave is #17. I love the effort he put into making the bubbles. Priceless!
Thank you all for making the trip up to St. Augustine! We’re so excited to seeing you guys again in the fall! : )
This week is all about engagements! We have 3 sessions to share this week, and first up is Candace & Jonathan! It’s hard to believe, but this was our first engagement session of 2012! I had to triple check, because at this point we’re going on our 6th wedding so I thought for sure we must have shot at least one engagement session. Nope – Candace & Jonathan are the first!
What a fun way to kick off our engagement sessions! We spent a lot of time with Candace & Jonathan during their e-session. First, we headed to the quaint town of Micanopy. If you didn’t know, this is where Doc Hollywood was filmed (just go out there and everyone will make sure you know). It’s such a great town full of cute antique and ice cream shops! And everyone is friendly and makes sure to say hello to visitors. No one is a stranger there!
We grabbed some root beer while Candace & Jonathan shared a float before we moved on to Gainesville. Candace graduated from UF, so doing engagement photos there was also an excuse to head back and visit friends! We started with photos at the Baughman Center (such a beautiful chapel) and then we went down near the stadium. And yes, they do have a Tebow statue (in case you were wondering). : )
We had so much fun hanging out with Candace & Jonathan and can’t wait for their wedding this summer! : )
We hope you’ve enjoyed Cory & Tyler’s gorgeous wedding photos at The Keeler Property! We’re excited to tell you that there’s more! A few weeks before the wedding, we met up with Cory for bridal portraits at The Keeler Property! We had a fun time, but my favorite part may be the photos of Cory with her sweet dog Hannah! I just think they are precious!
Thank you so much to The Keeler Property for letting us come out there to shoot Cory’s bridal portraits!
Cory & Tyler’s beautiful wedding at The Keeler Property continues to blow me away weeks after it happened. It’s hard to put into words how special this day was. Magical even! Just… perfect! We think that Cory said it best on her Facebook page:
“There was thunder and lightning and rain before the ceremony… and right as the ceremony began, and the bridal party began their procession… ironically to an instrumental “Here Comes the Sun”… the sun emerged. As we said our vows, a light sun shower added a dazzling backdrop. When the ceremony was over and we proceeded out the back of the covered bridge… A Double Rainbow stretched across the sky! No need to go look for gold on this St. Patty’s Day, for my treasure was standing beside me.”
This is the stuff fairytales are made of!
Looking back, the thunderstorms really made this day extra special. With the sun starting to shine through as the ceremony began and the double rainbow as they walked out, it was a true blessing over their marriage!
The reception was held in a beautifully decorated barn on the property, with gorgeous flowers, hail bales with slip covers, and hanging lanterns. There were also some very fun elements, like dueling cornhole games with opposing NC State and Florida boards. Cory also incorporated some incredibly personal details, including a sweetheart table from the bar where they met and playing the first voicemail Tyler left on her phone during their first dance. You can imagine what sweet surprises those were for Tyler!
It was bittersweet as the day came to an end, but mostly sweet! Congratulations Cory & Tyler! We wish you many exciting new chapters as your love story continues!
