We are so thrilled to share that Chanchal & Naresh’s beautiful wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island was recently featured on New Generation Bride! We just adore this couple and their families, all of whom were so warm and loving. It makes my heart so happy to see their photos and re-live all those wonderful memories!

We are also huge fans of the ladies over at New Generation Bride! Their blog is so fresh and inspiring and full of tons of wedding pretties, and these weddings aren’t like the ones you will find in most wedding blogs and magazines! If you really want to swoon, check out their recent visit to the International Bridal Fashion & Jewelry Week (IBFJW) Fashion Show, with incredible designers from around the globe! Truly stunning! And New Generation Bride was recently featured on LaurenConrad.com (where you’ll see a pic of our lovely bride Chanchal)! Huge kudos to our friends at NGB, and thank you so much for sharing one of our favorite weddings of 2012 with your readers!

On this Valentine’s Day, we want to talk about LOVE! Okay, so we know that as wedding photographers all of our blog posts are about love, but this particular love fest is all about our couples and our loyal GTP friends! <3 Based on all the love shared by our brides and grooms on The Knot, we were awarded The Knot Best of Weddings award for 2013! We are truly honored to receive this award because it's an award from our couples, and they are the number one reason why we do what we do. If we didn't get to work with the most amazing couples on the planet, we wouldn't still love this job after all these years! And honestly, we love it even more now than when we first started! : ) TheKnot_BestofWeddings2013

Over the years, we have been so blessed to receive amazing word of mouth from our couples. We love it when couples refer us, especially when we get to see them again at their friend’s wedding! We’ve also been honored to photograph weddings of siblings, which is very special because their family starts to feel like our extended family!

Now it’s our turn to spread the love! As a way to show our appreciation for your referrals, we are offering a gift of $100 to your favorite restaurant or spa or a $200 GTP credit for one of our photography services or products! Because some of our best couples come from referrals, we want to say thank you by giving you an opportunity to take your sweetie to dinner or spend the day getting pampered, or give you an opportunity to get some updated photos with the ones you love! The GTP credit can be used toward any of our photography brands (Gwendolyn Tundermann Weddings, GTP Family, Pillow Book Boudoir, and even Aroo! Pet Photography). You can also use it toward that canvas or album you’ve been wanting!

You do not have to be a past bride or groom to receive a gift! We welcome all of our loyal GTP friends to participate as well! To find out more details, just shoot me an email at info@gwendolyntundermann.com.

Warm Valentine hugs and love to all of you! <3

We were so excited to see model Chloe Hemmat featured in U-T San Diego’s model profile series, along with one of the images from our bridal fashion shoot in Anza Borrego with gown designer D’Marie Bridal Couture! Chloe is a very talented model, but I had no idea just how popular she is (she appeared in a Chris Brown video – pretty awesome!). She is also an aspiring fashion designer! Definitely go check out the article to find about more about her! Congrats, Chloe!

Thanks Lenara for letting us know about the article! : )

Birds, balloons, bicycles – Kyle & John’s engagement session had a little bit of everything! We met up in downtown Martinez, a cute little town northeast of San Francisco. We started out walking around the charming downtown area (filled with great antique stores) before heading to a nearby park. With seagulls and a fishing dock, the park reminded me more of a town on the east coast than northern California.

After the park, Kyle and John took a bike ride through windy mountain roads. Riding bikes is something that they love doing together, and you can tell they have so much fun with it! We had a fun time chatting and laughing with these two, and we can’t wait to see them again in April for their Las Vegas wedding! : )

When we met up with Alexis & Eike for their engagement session last week, it was all cuddles and smiles for these two! They met in Germany have traveled extensively together, and it’s obvious how much they love to be in one another’s company! Alexis says the song that reminds her of Eike is “Happy Together” by the Turtles, and when I look at these photos of them having so much fun together I can hear the song playing in my head! And that makes me all kinds of happy! : )

We started off their engagement photos at Sunset Cliffs. It was a fun time walking around the beautiful coast while we got to know this sweet couple a little better! We had some laughs together, especially as birds decided to photo bomb them. And then, after seeing a wave crash against the rocks, we continually begged for another one to come along and we got more than we bargained for! A huge wave (like 3 times the size of the other huge waves) crashed against the rocks, soaking Alexis & Eike!

Fortunately, they had a change of clothes, so they did a quick change and we headed downtown to the Gaslamp for more engagement photos! Okay, we really drank beer and margaritas and had tacos and carne asada fries, but every once in a while we snapped a photo, too! We had such a great time with these two and can’t wait for their wedding next month! : )

We had such a fun time this weekend traveling up to the Bay area! One of the highlights of our weekend was getting to know Kyle & John a little better while shooting their engagement photos in downtown Martinez, CA. It’s an adorable town with cute shops, and I can’t wait to take a trip back up there to do some antique shopping with Kyle!

Here are a couple sneak peeks from their engagement session! Excited to share more soon! : )
