While Matt and I were shopping over the weekend, we stopped with curious eyes in front of a section of Indian meals… in a box! A little skeptical, we decided to pick up one of the boxes to try it out.
Tonight we tried it out and to our great surprise it was actually pretty decent! It wasn’t restaurant quality or anything, but it was really tasty! On the way home Matt stopped by the Indian grocery store to pick up some naan, samosas, and different sauces to go with dinner. I couldn’t even finish dinner. It was so filling! Matt complained quite a bit about not having any meat with dinner so next time I’ll probably add some chicken for him (or maybe tofu if I can trick him into eating it!).
If you’re interested in trying a quick and easy meal, you can find the meal kits at Target under the Archer Farms label. Less than 30 minutes total prep time… and there’s no real cooking involved other than making the rice! I want to say the boxes were only like $3.99 or something ridiculously cheap like that. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other ones!

It was sooo good. The nann with the dipping sauces were great, but the rice with sauce was out of this world. Gwen really outdid herself with this meal!!!

Steph, crawfish brains don’t look very tasty either, but… well, we both know they are! LOL! It’s just rice with sauce and on the side is peas and potatoes in sauce.
Matt, you are easy to impress. You know it all came in a box! The most cooking involved was boiling water!
