She looks like she just stepped off the set of a 1950’s Hollywood picture. He looks like an MIB, dressed in black and sporting sunglasses. They are a perfect mix of classic and contemporary, blending beautiful traditions with modern touches into a wedding day that is uniquely them.

The skies were bright and sunny with just enough clouds to make things interesting. In the back yard of Todd’s parents’ home, bright pink lanterns were hung from shepherd’s hooks, framing the aisle runner that led Lyndsey to her soulmate. The well was adorned with pink and white sheers and floral balls made by Lyndsey. A table held 3 glasses vases of sand and a small candle with a photo of Todd’s late grandmother. It was an intimate occasion, and each detail added an element of Lyndsey and Todd’s unique style to the event.

Following the ceremony, we headed out to the Indian River for some photos. It was breezy and there was a chill in the air while choppy water danced around on the river. On the way back to the house, we stopped off at a convenience store for some fun and unconventional photos. Oh, the look we got from the cashier! I think she thought we were crazy, but it sure was fun and made for some interesting photos!!

Meeting Lyndsey & Todd was like meeting up with old friends. They came all the way down from Canada to share their vows in the Sunshine State with their families. We first met them on Sunday on our way back to Jacksonville from Orlando, and I said to Lyndsey that Matt and Todd looked like buddies. On the way home, Matt said to me “It’s too bad they live in Canada. They’d be so cool to hang out with!” I couldn’t agree more! So we are hoping to be able to get up to Canada later this year to meet up with them again and do a Trash The Dress session.

Congrats Lyndsey & Todd! We wish you all the best and the same for sweet little baby Loralai!!

A Tuesday wedding–wow!! That’s definitely unique :) Love the picture of them on the “security fisheye mirror.” Sorry, don’t know what it’s called, and I “quote” things that I don’t know ;-) Have a speedy recovery tomorrow after your surgery!

Thanks Cory! I think “security fisheye mirror” is the technical name for it. : )

Surgery is over and I feel fine. A little sore but not bad. I’m thinking that tomorrow will be worse.
